About the Growers:
Cooperativa Agraria Fuente de Bendicion was funded in 2016 by a group of small coffee growers in San Juan Del Rio Coco, in the department of Madriz. San Juan del Rio Coco is becoming one of the new regions within Nicaragua where the coffee industry is expanding and developing new profiles. The region offers excellent conditions for the production of high-end coffees but is less well known than more traditional regions like Matagalpa and Jinotega. Fuente de Bendicion's goals are to promote sustainable agricultural practices among its members, and continue to develop the quality of their flavor profiles to impress consumers of specialty coffee and obtain better premiums for its twenty-four members.
